This festive season, Doppio Zero is turning generosity into action with their annual Wish Tree initiative – a simple, heartfelt way to give back and make a real difference in the lives of children who need it most.

South Africa (21 November 2024) – Some brands just get it – especially during the festive season, when giving back feels more important than ever. Doppio Zero is one of those brands, and their annual Wish Tree initiative is proof that spreading kindness can be as simple as ordering your favourite coffee or enjoying a delicious meal.

So, what’s the Wish Tree? It’s Doppio Zero’s heartfelt way of giving back, running each year from November to December.

Customers, staff, and communities unite to donate goods that truly make a difference. Every donation – big or small – gets delivered directly to a carefully chosen charity which changes every year. The idea is wonderfully simple. Head to your local Doppio Zero, drop off your donations and know your contributions will end up in the hands of those who need them most.

Previous Wish Tree campaigns have done incredible work, from building toilets for a nursery foundation school to ensuring mothers and babies in need in South Africa had a helping hand over the festive season.

And this year, they’ve teamed up with The Learning Trust, an organisation transforming education for children across South Africa. By supporting after-school programmes and grassroots initiatives, they create safe spaces for children to learn, grow, and thrive. The focus this year is on collecting school supplies, from stationery to backpacks, which will go directly towards helping children access the tools they need to succeed.

For many children, a simple notebook or a set of crayons can mean the difference between feeling invisible and feeling empowered. Education isn’t just about textbooks – it’s about opportunity, self-belief, and hope for a brighter future.

By donating, you’re not just providing supplies; you’re investing in a child’s potential to dream big and achieve great things.

In the words of Doppio Zero: “This initiative is our way of engaging with and giving back to the communities that support us all year round. It’s a way of adding a heartfelt touch to the festive season and inspiring positivity.”

So, as the holidays roll in, why not make a difference? Head to your nearest Doppio Zero, drop off a donation and let’s help make this year’s Wish Tree the most impactful yet.

Because when we give, we all grow.
