Air New Zeland flight safety

Air New Zealand has released a new flight safety video starring American actress Anna Faris and Kiwi comedian Rhys Darby.

“Safety in Hollywood” was shot at Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles, and explores different film genres as Darby attempts to convince the Scary Movie star to appear in Air New Zealand’s new safety video.

The video was filmed at four different sets at Warner Bros. with some of the filming locations seen in legendary movies like Jurassic Park, Casablanca, War of the Worlds and TV series True Blood.

In 2014 we were blessed with an air safety reminder with a Hobbit twist and this latest video is equally determined to get your attention, plus remind you to switch your phone to flight mode and instruct you to refrain from swimming near a creepy swamp at night time.

The company has a knack for roping Hollywood big-hitters into their often weird but always wonderful videos about air safety.

Most people who fly would rather put in ear plugs and go to sleep than watch a bog-standard safety demonstration but Air New Zealand are all about going that extra aeronautical mile to keep you entertained and safe.
