OUTvest is a hybrid robo-advisor that has changed the personal investment journey for South Africans, through combining digital algorithms and human advisors. By embedding investment advice, administration and the actual investing into a single user journey they allow investors to focus on achieving their investment goals rather than selecting the right investment strategy.

“We believe that there is an ‘Advice Gap’ in the South African investment market. Around 2 million South Africans have sufficient income to consider saving, but without access to regular financial advice, very little of these savings make it into the investment space.”

OUTvest, through using the hybrid model, aims to make professional investment accessible and achievable. Now anyone can use a professional grade investment planning systems with human advice to create and manage their own investments through one administration platform.

Access to the OUTvest offering is done online (web version) or through downloading the OUTvest app. The interface incorporates a chatbot style interaction and can build a professional standard investment plan which best suits a client’s investment goals. Clients can start, stop and change their contributions online, view their original record of advice and get investment statements – all through the one administration platform.

The customised budgeting tools were built into the client user journey to assist clients to achieve their investment goals. For example, allowing parents to estimate the cost of a child’s education and build a tailored investment plan to achieve that goal – all online. The cash flow modelling system also takes into account the annual drawdowns a parent will need to pay for the education fees

You can invest and create an investment goal from R100 per month to millions!

  1. We all need to remember that we are on Earth for a limited period, own nothing and if we want to leave a legacy behind it should only be foe the betterment of all living things. The same applies to humanity. We all bleed the same colour, and have simular feelings. Each of us should have these principals to make a better world.
    1. Forgive others as you would wish them to forgive you.
    2. Show kindness to everyone, whether human or animal
    3. Consider what you are giving back to this world and society
    4. Don’t be critical of others. Our standards are not all the same.
    5. Share what you have. Giving is so much more rewarding than taking.
    6. Watch your words, whether spoken or written. Hurting others can have a repercussion back to you. Scandal or presumption can cause unpleasantness.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO KNOW is that LOVE is the strongest force in the world and will overcome absolutely anything!!!

  2. Leave every situation better than how you found it. Your view of the world and people is limited by your life experience and what you know. Remember this when dealing with people and going through life. Understanding that you don’t know what you think you know, helps you to connect and broadens your consciousness of the world around you. Never stop learning.#GoodThingsGoodAdvice

  3. If you drive a Charcoal or Grey colour vehicle, keep your lights on dim while driving during the day. This will help with visibility and reduce accidents.
