Thembinkosi Pantsi’s story is inspiring thousands of South Africans as he went from a cleaner to the CEO of a car dealership in Menlyn.
Menlyn, South Africa (08 December 2020) – Thembinkosi Pantsi is a 39-year-old businessman born and raised in Makhanda, Eastern Cape. He is making headlines today for pursuing his dreams and succeeding!
Thembinkosi wanted to a mechanical engineer, he started his studies in Port Elizabeth but dropped out when money became an issue. To make ends meet, he accepted a job as a cleaner. Even though he had to start off as a cleaner, he worked hard to earn promotion after promotion. He went from cleaner to waiter and barman until now, where he is the CEO of Avari Cars.
Avari Cars specialise in pre-owned luxury vehicles and is Thembinkosi’s dream realised! The business has been the last 5 years in the making and a great cause for celebration today.
He has been working in the car dealership industry for the last 5 years. He brought together capital and investors during this time, raising a total of R20-million.
His story is being highlighted because while many have had to close their doors, Thembinkosi opened his during this trying time, and it has become a beacon of hope.
Now that Thembinkosi’s dream has been realised, he is setting his sights on a bright future. The next step for his business will be to branch out and have a dealership group.
