Marmite South Africa has gone viral with a very clever advert crafted for Friday the 13th.
Johannesburg, South Africa (13 October 2017) – First marketed in the United Kingdom in 1902, Marmite is one of the world’s most popular savoury spreads.
The distinctive savoury taste of Marmite (there’s nothing else like it!) makes it a popular spread for everyone, from toddlers to grandparents and even though the product’s name may have been derived from a famous French soup, petite marmite, the delicious savoury spread we know today has become authentically South African.
And it’s the South African team who crafted this little clever advert for Friday the 13th, which plays on the new IT movie.
IT: Chapter One (promoted as IT) is a 2017 take on the 1986 novel of the same name by Stephen King. The movie features a scary clown who plagues a town with red balloons.
Check out the advert below… and happy Friday the 13th.
