South Africa, you are one-in-a-million! Here is to you, from Nando’s, celebrating 30 years of PERi–PERi.

South Africa (14 September 2017) – While proudly South African, Nando’s is an international flame-grilling, PERi-PERi chicken restaurant group. They offer a twist of Afro-Portuguese with an upmarket and comfortable dining experience. The first Nando’s was opened in 1987 in Johannesburg, South Africa, by two friends, Robert Brozin and Fernando Duarte.

While being world-renowned for serving delicious flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken, Nando’s is by no means a spring chicken. And this year for their 30th birthday, they are giving away 1 million meals!

“This year we are celebrating our 30th birthday and we couldn’t celebrate by ourselves, could we?”

“In the spirit of generosity, Nando’s will be giving one million lucky individuals the chance to enjoy our classic ¼ chicken, single chips, fresh Nando’s roll and 330ml soft drink for only R30 during the month of September.”

Make sure to flock to your nearest Nando’s this September as there are only 100 meals per day, per restaurant in celebration of Nando’s 30thBirthday.

“Here is to you, from us, celebrating 30 years of PERi–PERi goodness and giving thanks to our loyal customers in South Africa, where the grilling started in 1987. We invite you to take part in the festivities – bom proveito!”
