Porsche has been testing the new 2018 Porsche Panamera in Cape of Good Hope, South Africa ahead of its showroom debut.
All Porsche models go through strenuous testing in all kinds of weather and road conditions to ensure they are as reliable and usable as possible. The testing regime for the new Panamera is no different.
While the new Panamera has likely been out testing in harsh climates around the world for quite some time now, these are the first official photos from Porsche of the testing process.
Details about the car remain sketchy, but Carmagazine.co.uk said the second-generation will usher in three new body styles; five-door coupe, five-door long-wheelbase coupe and a five-door SportTurismo shooting brake.
On the engine front, expect the second iteration to have V6 and V8 diesels, there will be a 2.9-litre V6 petrol and a 3.6-litre twin-turbo V6 rated and a sporty 4.0-litre V8.
