Bursting with compassion, Balule Nature Reserve’s sustainable outreach gifts a resilient local entrepreneur a reliable vehicle, illuminating the path for small businesses from disadvantaged communities to shine.

Limpopo, South Africa (27 August 2023) – In a heartwarming gesture that’s lighting up the Balule Nature Reserve, local entrepreneur Lizzy Mohlala, the spirited founder of Lizvic Cleaning Services, was recently handed the keys to a brand-new, custom-fitted vehicle.

This gesture of goodwill, orchestrated by John Anderson, a guardian of the Balule Outreach Trust, is kindling a beacon of hope for small businesses in disadvantaged communities.

Lizzy’s journey is one of true tenacity. Five years ago, she embarked on her cleaning venture from the ground up, offering meticulous cleaning and gardening services within the embrace of the Balule Nature Reserve. Her unwavering dedication has borne fruit, as she now provides jobs to a team of 21 dedicated individuals. However, every journey has its hurdles. The road to success can be rugged, and for Lizzy, the most pressing challenge was the reliability of her transportation. Her trusty companion was showing signs of fatigue, leaving her staff stranded and denting her budget. Enter Ian Nowak, the visionary General Manager of the Balule Nature Reserve, and a loyal client of Lizzy’s services.

Ian recognized the potential in Lizzy’s business and decided to champion her cause. He approached the wise minds behind the Balule Outreach Trust, and together, they set their hearts on supplying Lizzy with a vehicle that’s not only reliable but also equipped with custom features to ensure the safety and comfort of her team during their transit to clients.

Speaking with heartfelt enthusiasm, Ian shared, “We’re not just a reserve; we’re a community. Our commitment to sustainable outreach extends beyond our borders, inviting small businesses from marginalized backgrounds to join our reserve’s supply chain.”

The radiant smile on Lizzy’s face as she received her new vehicle embodies the spirit of change that the Balule Outreach Trust aims to ignite. Lizzy’s joy is palpable. With her new companion by her side, she’s optimistic that her business will flourish and extend its reach. She expressed her gratitude to John Anderson, the trust, and Ian Nowak for believing in her dream. Their unwavering support has rekindled her determination and fanned the flames of her entrepreneurial spirit.

As the sun sets over the Balule Nature Reserve, a sense of unity and possibility envelops the landscape. John Anderson, brimming with pride, also thanked Al Pearce, an instrumental member of the Balule Nature Reserve’s executive committee and a trustee of the trust. Their collective efforts have woven a tale of hope that’s echoed through the rustling leaves and the bustling heart of the reserve.

In closing, John Anderson’s words ring like a melodious tune in the hearts of all who read this story: “To Lizzy, may your journey be as smooth as the road beneath your new wheels. We raise our hats to your success and cheer for the dawn of endless possibilities!”

The tale of Balule Nature Reserve’s sustainable support continues, lighting up lives and kindling dreams, one small business at a time.
