A new App has just been launched to help South Africans find cafes, restaurants and workspaces to continue doing business during loadshedding.

Western Cape South Africa (06 October 2022) – Two South Africans have just launched an App that helps you find cafes, restaurants and workspaces with electricity.

This is how to keep working… even while loadshedding!

The App was created by Tristan Klement and Cara van Coller, who say that they were struggling with remote working and studying “thanks to our reliably unreliable energy provider”.

“My friend and I have sat down and developed a mobile application that shows you cafes and other places to work around you, with one of the filters being that you are able to search by generator capacity,” Tristan explained to Good Things Guy.

“Instead of spending energy finding new places to work, let Remotable do it for you.”

The Remotable App aims to make remote working a seamless, fluid, and easy experience.

The App is available on Apple and Google and has 60 locations to work from, with more to be added soon.
