Spar

Cinnamon Square Spar asked all the moms on staff to bring their children for a fun day out as a way to say thank you for all their hard work.

Strand, Western Cape – To celebrate Women’s Month and International Lion Day, the Cinnamon Square Spar invited the children of all their hardworking staff to a day out at the movies.

The company took the children to watch the new live-action Lion King movie. Kitted out with popcorn, drinks and sweets, the children had a fabulous day. For many of the children, it was the first time they ever went to the movies.

The Cinnamon Spar did this as a thank you for all the hard-working the moms on their staff as well as a way to inspire the next generation about conserving the environment for the beautiful animals on screen.

“With it being Women’s month and International Lion’s day this month we treated our hardworking women’s children to the Lion King movie!

It is a token of our appreciation for what our ladies do for us and at the same time plant the seed that our future generation help and assist in the conservation of this majestic animal!

The first time in the movie for most of them!

Safe to say they enjoyed it a lot!”

Rowan Ferreira was behind the big day, as an avid lover of nature and wildlife, he hoped the day would be a great source of inspiration. Many have expressed their love and joy for the day.

“Thank you so much, Rowan. So much appreciated. Everyone enjoyed it so very much.” – Dorothy Geswindt

“Wow this is a great gesture to celebrate the women working for you” – Jackie Martin
