In a partnership with Discovery Health, Clicks and Dis-Chem, Uber will be driving nurses to your doorstep on the 18th of April to give you free Flu Shots.

Discovery Health has partnered with Uber, Clicks and Dis-Chem to bring the flu vaccine to people in need. The Flu Shots will be administered by a nurse. The car service will drop a nurse off at your doorstep.

This offer will be taking place on the 18th of April 2018. The best part is that when you request the Uber nurse, you and 4 people qualify for a flu shot. The flu vaccine is available at no cost to you. You only pay R100 for the delivery by Uber.

This service will be available in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town or Port Elizabeth.

How it works

  • Be ready on Wednesday 18 April 2018 from 10:00 in the morning.
  • Open your Uber app or download the app.
  • Set your ‘pickup’ location
  • Swipe right on your vehicle options and choose “UberWELLNESS”
  • Confirm your ride and if a driver is available at that time, a nurse will be there soon to give you your flu vaccination. The demand in your area could be high, so book early, be patient and keep trying.

As part of the offer, all Discovery Vitality members will earn 1 000 Vitality points for having a flu vaccination. And of course, Uber has a promo code for any new users which will give them R50.00 off their first ride. Sign up using the promo code UBERWELLNESS18 to enjoy a discount of R50 on your first trip!
