A very clever pitbull has creeped into peoples hearts all over the world, after he rescued a puppy that was dumped & left for dead.
The pitbulls name is Meca, she is a rescue dog that lives in an animal shelter in Spain. Shelter officials were taking her photo, in the hope of finding her a home, when Meca caught a scent that she knew wasn’t normal, she could not ignore it!
The carers at the shelter said Meca began to tug on her lead and pulled them desperately them to a nearby rubbish dump, they described the smell of the dump to be foul, but this did not stop Meca!
She ran over to what looked like nothing but a plastic packet dumped with someones rubbish, this turned out to be a live puppy, her poor little nose & legs were tied up so she couldn’t escape & she couldn’t even bark, she was just left to die in the plastic bag.
The abandoned dog, who has since been named Campa, was taken in by the shelter workers.
“We don’t even want to imagine what would have happened if Meca had not found her,” a spokesperson for the animal shelter said. “She was very hungry and thirsty, but she is okay.”
Since the story went viral, dog lovers around the world offered to adopt both Campa & Meca, how great is that?
The authorities are looking for any information to catch the sick culprits that left baby Campa in that state!
