Since its inception in 2007, AfrikaBurn has been taking place on Stonehenge Farm in the Tankwa Karoo in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa.

For some a spiritual journey into the wildness, for others its a hipster intervention that’s all just a bit too much.

Either way, this year’s anticipation of dreaming, planning, building and wonderful acts of creation under the theme X is for radical self-expression – has as always offered up some visual delights.
