baboons

Two baboons took advantage of a quiet afternoon to take a dip and play around in a crystal blue pool overlooking Betty’s Bay.

Betty’s Bay, South Africa – As businesses become more accepting of baboons, we are getting the chance to see them in adorable situations.

Baboons are often considered a nuisance or pain and dealt with in cruel ways. There are several groups now working to educate businesses and homeowners in baboon rich environments, to treat them fairly or to call the groups to help disperse them in a humane way.

Just the other day in Betty’s Bay, a small troop took advantage of a coffee shop being closed, to use their stretch tarp roof as a trampoline. A video of them playing went viral, and people couldn’t get enough of how cute and playful the troop was.

Once again, a video of baboons being adorable has hit the internet. This time the baboons are having the holiday we all wish we could be on right now.

The pool at the Kalliste Exclusive Retreat looks over an incredible view of Betty’s Bay. Two baboons decided to have fun in the pool and splash around. The cottage often plays host to troops of baboons passing by but this moment was, thankfully, caught on camera.

“Love the way they jump in and swim very cute” – Angela Munnik

The video is already on its way to ten thousand views. Take a look at the cute video below.
