Changing the world… one cup at a time!

There is a new innovative take-away coffee cup that uses NO PLASTIC and it is finally available in South Africa!

The world is done with plastic but luckily an innovative new design won’t stop you from ordering take-away coffee in the future!

It’s called the ButterflyCup and has multiple benefits for consumers, retailers & the environment! It’s easy to use and completely reduces your carbon footprint but the reason the ButterflyCup is making waves is because it is the first lidless cup ever created!

Cup lids account for over 100 tons of plastic waste per day worldwide! Each saved lid helps protect our environment.

Traditionally, take-away cups are also coated with plastic (PE) in order to make the paper waterproof but the new ButterflyCup Bio uses BioPBS as the environmentally friendly alternative to plastic and doesn’t need a lid at all!

“Plastic-coated cups are not compostable and are difficult to recycle. BioPBS is the environmentally friendly, 100% biodegradable, compostable and recyclable alternative to using plastic.”

BioPBS is produced from renewable materials (corn, cassava or sugar cane). Paper cups coated in BioPBS are compostable at an ambient temperature and biodegrade naturally in the soil into biomass, carbon dioxide and water, leaving zero negative impact on the environment. Paper cups coated with BioPBS can also be 100% recycled or composted in commercial waste disposal facilities.

Chilla Beverage Co are the exclusive agents in South Africa for a new revolutionary take-away cup that is taking the world by storm.
