Drone footage of the Hartbeespoort Dam Wall is the best thing you will see today!

Incredible Drone footage of the Hartbeespoort Dam Wall after the recent rains has been uploaded to social media for all our viewing pleasure!

Marcel van Heerden uploaded the drone footage after the recent heavy rains in South Africa.

Some areas in South Africa recently experienced a 24-hour rainfall that caused some flooding and devastation. Many parts of Gauteng were left without electricity and a number of roads were closed due to the heavy rainfall.

The rains left roads flooded, traffic lights out of order and those living in low-lying areas vulnerable.

Tshwane Emergency Services spokesperson Johan Pieterse said residents of several informal settlements in Mamelodi and Soshanguve were relocated by emergency services on Thursday night for their own safety.

Throughout the day, pictures and videos emerged on social media of flooded roads and uprooted trees but this video was uploaded a couple of days later.
