Snow fall report snow Matroosberg Mountains

The cold front has brought with it bouts of snow in various parts of South Africa and with it some awesome social media footage!

Another cold front has hit South Africa over the weekend and brought bitterly cold temperatures and more snow for this season across the country.

Parts of the Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Western Cape were predicted to receive heavy snow fall, at least 10cm thick while other parts of South Africa were also set to see temperatures drop significantly over the weekend.

Minimum temperatures are expected to remain cool to cold across most of the country, while the central interior is expected to be extremely cold.

Maximum temperatures are predicted to remain cool to cold across most of the country. The West Coast is expected to be warm, as well as the northern parts of the North West, the northern border, and the northeastern parts of KwaZulu-Natal.

But before the winter season ends and all the snow melts, Snow Report South Africa uploaded an epic video of what Sani Pass woke up to on Saturday!
