The Woodrock Animal Rescue team is gearing up for a weekend filled with furry friends and all the good vibes at its fabulous “Pop-Pup Weekend”, aimed at giving many dogs and puppies a chance at a forever home.
Johannesburg, South Africa (06 February 2025) – The weekend is near, and it promises to be a pawsitively amazing one as the Woodrock Animal Rescue prepares for its “Pop-Pup Weekend” at Parktown North GardenShop from 9:30 am to 2 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
This is the perfect opportunity to meet adorable, adoptable dogs and puppies looking for their forever homes.
Whether you’re ready to expand your family or simply want to support a worthy cause, you’re invited to browse the diverse range of beautiful animals waiting for their perfect match. The Woodrock thrift store will also be on-site, offering a chance to shop for unique finds while contributing to the rescue’s vital work.

These furry friends are hidden gems, waiting to shine in the comfort of a loving home. By choosing a rescue, you break the cycle of pet overpopulation and give an animal a chance at a long, happy life.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! If you’re an early riser, you can also join the Woodrock team for some dog yoga at the Bark Park in Fourways Crossing this Saturday from 8 am to 10:30 am.
Adorable adoptable pups will be around for viewing until 2 pm, giving you another chance to connect with your potential new best friend.
And if you’re looking to visit the actual Woodrock Animal Rescue shelter or the Woodrock Cat Cafe to meet some of their adorable feline residents, you can stop by Plot 51, R511, Hennops River Valley, Pretoria, Gauteng.
