A professional photographer from Sweden recently spent her holidays in South Africa and captured everything she saw, which was pure beauty!
Johannesburg, South Africa (06 February 2017) – Fanny Amanda Nilsson is a blogger/ model and photographer; her photography is usually weddings and portraits from Falkenberg, Sweden. Booking a holiday to South Africa meant ample opportunity to photograph the country’s beauty, but Nilsson decided to film portions of the holiday instead of just photos.
“The only man I envy is the man who has not yet been to Africa – for he has so much to look forward to.” –
Richard Mullin.
Nilsson and her boyfriend landed in South Africa, starting their trip in Johannesburg. The trip was spent seeing the sights and meeting African wildlife at places like the Kruger National Park and Chisomo Safari Camp. Then moving on to the Western Cape to visit Cape Town, Atlantis and the Garden Route.
The short film, appropriately named “South Africa”, is 8 minutes long and follows the couple on all their South African adventures. The most moving scene is when Nilsson lays her eyes on a herd of elephants bathing in a watering hole; her face expresses pure joy and just says it all!
Seeing how others perceive and view our home country is always lovely. Videos created by tourists and locals always tend to be pride and goosebump-inducing as we get to sit and see our home through someone else’s eyes.
“South Africa is the most beautiful place on earth. Admittedly , I am biased but when you combine the natural beauty… and the fact that the region is a haven for Africa’s most splendid wildlife… Then I think that we have been blessed with a truly wonderful land” – Nelson Mandela
