Fanny Amanda Nilsson is a blogger/ model and photographer, her photography is usually wedding and portraits, from Falkenberg Sweden. Booking a holiday to South Africa meant ample opportunity to photograph the beauty of the country but instead of just photo’s, Fanny decided to film portions of the holiday as well.

“The only man I envy is the man who has not yet been to Africa – for he has so much to look forward to.” –
Richard Mullin.

Fanny and her boyfriend landed in South Africa starting their trip in Johannesburg. The trip was spent seeing the sights and meeting African wildlife at places like the Kruger National Park and Chisomo Safari Camp. Then moving on to the Western Cape to visit Cape Town, Atlantis and the Garden Route.

The short-film, appropriately named “South Africa”, is 8 minutes long and follows the couple on all their South African adventures. The most moving scene in the moment Fanny lays her eyes on a herd of elephants bathing in a watering hole, her face expresses pure joy!

It is always lovely to see how other’s perceive and view our home country. Video’s created by tourists and locals alike always tend to be pride and goosebump inducing as we get to sit and see our home through someone elses eyes.

“South Africa is the most beautiful place on earth. Admittedly , I am biased but when you combine the natural beauty… and the fact that the region is a haven for Africa’s most splendid wildlife… Then I think that we have been blessed with a truly wonderful land” – Nelson Mandela
