Renowned International publication, The Inquisitr, has listed South Africa as one of the worlds top travel destinations… and we couldn’t agree more.

The Inquisitr is an internationally recognized news website read by more than 40 million unique visitors each month. More than 3 million social media followers look to The Inquisitr for the latest news and happenings every day and now the world renowned publication is promoting South Africa to their followers.

“If you are planning for your next trip, you may want to consider the unconvential, yet exciting choice of South Africa. The African continent is known for its lush paradise and exotic feel, but there is so much more to South Africa than the majestic animals they have.”

The publication listed a few cities as the “wonders” of South Africa focusing on the diverse mixture of cultural influences.

From Durban’s mix of the tropical heat of the South African culture and the modernization from different cultures all over the world to Pretoria’s architectural influence similar to Europe like the Mahlamba Ndopfu, house of the President in Pretoria, the South African State Theatre and the Union Buildings.

The publication lists Cape Town as the World’s Best City and praises it for being an incredibly magical place.

“First, there’s the in-your-face beauty of a craggy mountain range that drops precipitously into a glittering sea, its flanks carpeted in green. Then there’s the pristine white beaches lapped by – it must be said – a chilly Atlantic, their curves defined by giant granite boulders to bake on, and burbling mountain streams in dappled forests.”

Limpopo and the Eastern Cape are also listed for their natural beauty, wildlife and nature.

“My itchy feet had kept me country-hopping for years – then I visited South Africa. There’s something about the rainbow nation that just grabs hold and won’t let go.”

“Travelling the nine provinces never gets tired, and it’s all about diversity – cultures from Africa, Asia and Europe sharing their traditions, languages and cuisines; encounters with creatures from dung beetles to white rhinos; accommodation options from rustic cabins to deluxe hotels and above all, a constantly changing landscape in which to enjoy it all.”

“Land on South African shores, and it might just grab hold of you, too.” – Lucy Corne, Lonely Planet
