Trevor Noah recently heard about the 50 Top Sexiest Accents in the world list and decided to add his voice to the discussion; you will laugh out loud!

New York, United States – Trevor Noah took some time during his show to discuss the poll that led to South Africa being named the second sexiest accent in the world. He went through each one and disputed how they made it onto the top 5 list.

When he gets to South Africa, he becomes confused and explains that there are many different accents in our diverse country. He then goes on to give various examples of South African accents and finds the winner of the sexiest South African accent. It is so funny!

If you are wondering how SA got such a top spot, 1.5 million people from 60 countries took a survey and voted for the sexiest accents in the world. The votes came in, and South Africa placed second on the list. Coming in above the famed French accent and the beautiful Irish accent. The poll was taken by Big 7 Media, who share several lists which promote global travel.

The accent that the vote was based on was the Afrikaans one.

“Afrikaans is a hugely popular accent with many people across the globe, thanks to their unique tones and Saffa slang.”

The top 10 included:

10th. Brazilian Portuguese
9th. U.S Southern
8th. Spanish
7th. French
6th. Scottish
5th. Australian
4th. Italian
3rd. Irish
2nd. South African
1st. Kiwi

Take a look at Trevors hilarious take on the winners below. He gets a little risque so maybe use your headphones
