kindness

A video created to help entice people to spread kindness and start volunteering will warm even the coldest heart, it is very sweet.

Being kind is as simple as holding the door open, helping someone cross the road or picking something up that another person has dropped. Sometimes we do kind things without even realising it and have no idea how it makes someone else feel.

According to Psychology Today, kindness is important because Darwin attributed it to the survival of humans (aka survival of the fittest).

‘Darwin, who studied human evolution, actually didn’t see mankind as being biologically competitive and self-interested. Darwin believed that we are a profoundly social and caring species. He argued that sympathy and caring for others is instinctual’

Kindness is defined as the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. We see it every day here on Good Things Guy and love how it inspires people to go out there and spread their own kindness.

Good breeds good and once you start, you won’t want to stop.

We recently saw the sweetest animated video of a man who learns the gift of kindess. Take a look below.
