Cat Newborn Shoot

Lucy Schultz, an award-winning photographer recently shared a really funny photo shoot of her new kitten. Her idea was to do a traditional birth shoot only with the new family cat.

These days there is a photography session for nearly everything. You can have one for an engagement announcement, engagement party, wedding day, pregnancy announcement, gender reveal, baby shower, dad’s nappy party, the day of the babies birth, first sneeze (joke) and like every milestone thereafter so why not for your pets?

Lucy Schultz, an award-winning photographer, decided to do an arrival photography session for her new cat. Not everyone that has seen it has been impressed but it is pretty brilliant if you ask us. That was a lot of effort to introduce the world to a kitten but why not?

While we do not know the exact circumstances around the adoption of the cat we do have this to say to all those opposed to the idea. Many couples (and individuals) face challenges in starting their own “traditional” families and so they opt to give their love to an animal. Why shouldn’t they also have the joys of doing fun photography sessions with their loved fur-babies? Just a little food for thought.

“On 1/10/18 we welcomed our first baby kitten, a neutered male DLH. He is 22″ long and weighed 6 pounds 7 oz. He is already eating solid food. Name to be announced. We are so in love” – Lucy Schultz
