Beach Boys

The Beach Boys have some really famous songs and today we stumbled onto a different version of one of their most popular, perfect for Throwback Thursday

The Beach Boys formed in 1961 and became really popular for hits like ‘Wouldn’t It Be Nice’, ‘Good Vibrations’ and ‘Surfin USA’. They became distinguished for their vocal harmonies and early surf songs, they are one of the most influential acts of the rock era.

They released an album that contained only vocal tracks, using only their voices, much like an A Cappella group would. The album didn’t do well at the time but finding the song today and hearing it gives a person chills. Their voices are unbelievable and it makes you happy there wasn’t auto-tune back then.

It is becoming really popular for people to isolate the vocals of singers from the 50’s to the 90’s. A perfect and incredible example of this is Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ which you can hear here, prepare for chills!
