Awesome song to keep your holiday spirit alive while showcasing beautiful Cape Town

As you head back to work this morning, crank this up and remember the amazing summer holidays you had… and then revel in the fact that we live in the most beautiful country in the world an have the ability to make everyday another holiday.

Rudi Simon, a passionate South African DJ living in London created this awesome track and then added some amazing visuals of Cape Town to compliment it.

In 2016, the Cape was voted as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, as well as one of the top international travel destinations for 2017… and we couldn’t agree more!

Other accolades from 2016:

  • The Condé Nast Readers’ Travel Awards 2016 chose the city as Best Overseas City for Restaurants and Bars, and placed Cape Town favourably as a runner up in the category of Favourite Overseas City.
  • The 2015-16 Telegraph Travel Awards chose Cape Town as Best City (for the fourth year running).
  • In Condé Nast’s Reader’s Choice Awards, Cape Town took the honour as the number one food city in the world for 2016.
  • Cape Town has been named as Luxury City Destination of the Year for the second consecutive year in the Luxury Travel Guide Africa & Middle East Awards 2016.
  • Listed in the top 5 global travel destinations as “surprisingly gay-friendly” in the New York Times/SCRUFF survey on gay travel, 2016.

The video depicts our beautiful city perfectly and serves as an awesome reminder of amazing summer holidays in South Africa!

And yes, the holidays may be over but the fun doesnt need to end just yet. It’s still Summer and we still live in the most beautiful place in the world.

Turn the volume up and watch this to remind you of that:
