The Democratic National Convention gave viewers a musical surprise in the final hour of day two.
Every campaign needs a Fight Song & we Hillary Clinton’s competition just got pitch-slapped.
Elizabeth Banks led dozens of stars in harmonizing for Hillary in a new campaign anthem video, which made its debut Tuesday night at the Democratic convention.
“My friends and I, we believe in this idea of ‘Stronger Together,’ we believe in Hillary Clinton. So we made something for her,” Banks told the convention crowd.
A dizzying array of stars like Connie Britton, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ian Somerhalder and Mandy Moore – even Jane Fonda makes a cameo, however croaky – all sang their support for Clinton to Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song” in the a cappella video inspired by the Pitch Perfect films, which Banks produced. She also co-produced the new “Fight Song” video.
