All kinds of Springboks’ supporters have united to show our team the most support, and the latest sensation stealing green and gold hearts is a proudly South African chicken—’Chic Bokkie’!

Ribeek-Kasteel, South Africa (20 October 2023) — We’ve seen all kinds of Springboks’ supporters this World Cup Season. From adorable messages of hope to drum circle rallies and South Africans trending all over TikTok for their reactions to the iconic match versus France last weekend, it’s safe to say that South Africa’s fanbase is untouched. However, another supporter is stealing green and gold hearts in SA, and she might just be the chicest supporter yet—’Chic Bokkie’.

Captured in her element sporting an iconic Springbok-inspired get-up and a springbok pal, Chic Bokkie stands tall and proud. She might be a big albeit little Boks supporter, but this chika is also here to shine the spotlight on her species.

Shared by organic farmer and certified ‘Country Chic’, Suzanne Smit, Chic Bokkie soon became a viral sensation.

She joins the ranks with other top-tier supporters who are all preparing themselves for the big Rugby World Cup semi-finals against England this Saturday, where Stade de France will become engulfed in South African support.

If you need a goose-bump-inducing reminder to unlock the next level of your own support, just watch Siya Kolisi’s sentiments on the match against France.
