Grace VanderWaal has just announced that her first album, after winning America’s Got Talent, will be out on the 2 December and we are excited!
At just 12 years old, Grace VanderWaal has become an international sensation. The talented singer was found on America’s Got Talent early this year and then went on to win the competition!
VanderWaal was born on January 1, 2004 and is from Suffern, New York. She started writing music at the age of three, making up songs with her wireless microphone and brought her first Ukulele with her birthday money from her 11th birthday.
A year later and she’s become a household name.

VanderWaal entered the 11th season of America’s Got Talent with her singing her original song “I Don’t Know My Name”.
She explained that the song is all about finding out who you are and where you fit in.
Moved by her performance, Howie Mandel pressed his Golden Buzzer to send Grace straight to the Live Shows. Simon Cowell later commented that he thought that she could be the next Taylor Swift.
VanderWaal went on to win the competition… with the million dollars and a recording contract too!
The singer is not wasting any time as she is releasing her first album, just weeks after winning!
