Meet Ed Sheeran’s hilarious bodyguard, Kevin Myers!

South Africa – Ed Sheeran has just spent two weeks in South Africa entertaining audiences around the country with his heartfelt lyrics and show-stopping vocals, but it seems his bodyguard was also entertaining fans… on Instagram!

The British singer-songwriter recently played sold-out shows in both Johannesburg and Cape Town, and while he may have been entertaining fans, it seems that his bodyguard was also quite busy!

Kevin Myers is Ed’s personal bodyguard. He’s there for the meet and greets, or to hold Ed’s umbrella, or when Ed needs to be carried or cuddled! Apparently, the two are pretty close – as you’d almost expect them to be considering the amount of time they spend together.

The bodyguard was hired in 2015 when fans started getting a little too touchy-feely with Ed and has been ever present, ever since.

Kevin, known as Security Kev, started his Instagram on the 7th of April 2018 and has racked up almost a million followers with his hilarious posts.
