South Africans had a bit of fun with a not so innocent looking snow forecast. Since making us all giggle, these are some of the pictures of the aftermath.

 

The South African Weather Service released a disruptive snowfall alert for the past weekend but instead of fear, social media responded with the most hilarious comments. The reason was the snow storm looked rather questionable to some…

Michelle Sander said: “Judging by the size and shape of the area, it may have a huge impact if the full frontal system continues to grow, resulting in wet conditions when the hard weather system finally taper’s off during the course of the weekend, mopping up operations may be required”.

Jessica Antionette le Roux added: “That looks a bit willy…I mean…chilly”.

However, the prediction was pretty bang on and snow really did fall over parts of the Western Cape. Many ventured out to experience it for themselves. These are some of the pictured shared across social media of the beautiful white landscapes.
