Must Watch: Lasizwe's version of the Bottle Cap Challenge is everything!

Lasizwe is ‘breaking the internet’ with his version of the Bottle Cap Challenge!

Johannesburg, South Africa – This South African comedian is just too much… but we can’t get enough of him! Thulasizwe Dambusa is trending again, but this time he’s ‘breaking the internet’ with his Bottle Cap Challenge.

Dambuza known professionally as Lasizwe Dambuza – is a South African Comedian, Television Personality, Radio host and actor. The social media star has made a big name for himself in South Africa by creating and posting hilarious video skits based on current affairs, he is also young brother to Khanyi Mbau but has never used this to boost his platform.

The 20-year-old, also known as Babes Wamaleyvels by his 350 000 followers says he started using humour to fight negativity when he was attacked because of his sexuality at school.

“One thing I learnt is that people don’t listen when the message is straight forward. When you implement humour and combine it with serious issues, someone will laugh about it and tell another person; then it becomes a topic.”

The social media star went viral in 2016 following the news of the Doom Pastor, a self-proclaimed prophet who sprayed Doom insecticide into his congregants’ faces, Dambusa posted a video in which he said he would “doom” negative people out of his life.

He has also been featured on Good Things Guy several times for “how different moms react when their cards decline“, “How different parents react when yelling at their kids!” and “The difference between Woolworths, Pick n Pay & Shoprite Cashiers“.

This time around, Dambuza has found himself in the top trending videos of the week after uploading his version of the ‘Bottle Cap Challenge’ and adding his famous ‘card declined’ line in there.

The Bottle Cap Challenge is the latest craze kicking it all over social media with plenty of celebrities trying to their best to crack it. It started back on 25 June when Taekwondo fighter and instructor Farabi Davletchin posted his amazing kick trick. Action film actor Jason Statham then got involved, posting a slow-mo video of him taking the challenge.

Since then, everyone’s been trying it, but we think Lasizwe has got this down pat!
