Talk about a Friday flashback! The Oros Flavour Drums advert is an oldie but a goodie, and we are happy to share this earworm with you for its nostalgic merits!
Johannesburg, South Africa – We saw a meme on Facebook earlier today, and it was a big flashback to our younger years. Do you remember the Oros song?
We can’t be sure when the advert was first released, but we know we were much younger than we are today. The funny thing about adverts is we all have one that never leaves our brains. The earworm lives deep in mind and, if something reminds you of it, the song just pops right back in as if it was only yesterday.
We are starting to believe the movie “Inside Out” has some merit. In the film, the five emotions, Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger and Fear run the brain and recall memories. The workers down in long term memory send up advert jingles every so often to annoy the five emotions.
That has to be happening in our brains too!
The meme instantly made our brains recall the Oros song. If you are not sure which song we are talking about, take a watch below. It should loosen the brain juices, but it might also leave the song stuck in your head for a few hours days.
This is one heck of a flashback!
