A video is going viral globally for being inventive and adorable! Two young boys getting bored at home were surprised by their parents turning the house into a restaurant.

Scotland, United Kingdom (20 April 2020) – Parents across the world are coming up with creative ways to entertain their children. One dad turned his lounge into a McDonald’s Drive-Through, and these parents, Callum and Claire-Marie, in Scotland, opened their own restaurant for one evening to entertain their two boys.

Their two boys, Lucas and Evan, had been asking if they could go out for a meal. Their parents tried to explain the lockdown and why they had to stay home, but the boys are so young, they couldn’t understand the reason. To make things easier, Mom and Dad set up their very own restaurant at home.

They helped the boys get dressed up and asked them to wait outside. Then, they were welcomed into the Mummy and Daddy’s Restaurant. Much like any meal out, their booking was checked, and they were shown to a table. Their drinks order was taken, and they were offered menus.

Watching the now-viral video, you can see the boys are loving every moment. They even loved the personal touches, like being able to customise their desserts.

In the end, they were chuffed to learn the meal was on the house. If you are looking for a little inspiration and fun to have with your children, this could be the idea for you. It is incredibly sweet to watch.
