Sesame Street

The cast of Sesame Street did a ‘Stranger Things’ parody to promote the importance of sharing. The skit is perfect for all ages as the lesson applies to all.

Sesame Street wanted to share an important message about sharing and to do so they used the popular Netflix series, Stranger Things.

If you have not seen Stranger Things but still plan to watch it, please note this may contain spoilers and skip ahead to the video. The video doesn’t contain spoilers, well, not any that would make sense or ruin the show for you.

In this parody of Stranger Things, the Cookiegorgon has eaten everything in the Snackside Down and is still hungry! Will he learn how to share, or will he continue wreaking havoc on the kids in town by eating all their treats?

The video starts out pretty funny considering that Barb is featured in the Upside Snackside Down. Obviously, Barb isn’t around for the second season because she was eaten in season one but seeing her is kind of heartwarming. The Cookigorgon head to steal the treats from the kids.

Along the way, he learns a valuable lesson about sharing and when he heads back to the Snackside Down, he even shares his waffle with Barb.

The message of the skit is done brilliantly, it targets an older audience, especially as Stranger Things was such a massive hit globally but is suitable for children to watch as well.
