Anton Taylor, a funny South African actor, decided to cheer up his neighbours by hosting a bingo game for the entire apartment building, he even gave the winner some wine!

Newlands, South Africa (07 May 2020) – To paraphrase the Beatles, “We get by with a little help from our friends” or in this case, we get by with the help from our community. Anton Taylor gave his neighbours a fun afternoon by hosting a bingo game.

They set up a table out in the communal gardens along with a speaker so everyone could hear. Anton then sat and hosted the bingo game. The neighbours sat on their balconies and played along. The first three to shout bingo won prizes.

Bingo is actually so much fun, it gets weirdly competitive and proves that it isn’t reserved for the retired. Bridesmaids use it as a fun game and now, communities too!

Apparently the Montebello apartments community have been doing a lot together while staying apart. Every night at 8 pm, everyone heads out onto their balconies to clap and sing as a way to say thank you to all the essential workers and medical staff risking their lives. After that, they sing together as a community.

Anton and his friend Storm also used that moment to put on a performance for the Montebello community. It is incredible what a projector and a speaker can do. They sing happy birthday, and so much more, all together!

You can see all the cool things Anton and his neighbours have been up to together here.
