Stikeez… a marketing tool by Pick n Pay which turned into a massive craze last year are back, for a second season, featuring creatures of the deep!

 

24 brand new Stikeez are waiting to be found in Pick n Pay stores around South Africa.

The supermarket group said it had raised turnover by 8.5 percent thanks to the first campaign, despite an increasingly challenging market environment.

During the campaign, customers spending a certain amount were given small toy characters for their own little monsters to collect obsessively and stick to dashboards and fridges.

But this time, they have an added App which can be used to find them, catch them and add them to your collection.

You can also unlock rewards and show them off in special Stikeez selfies as your collection grows.

  • GPS guided submarine allows you to find the creatures in all Pick n Pay Stores.
  • Collect all the Stikeez, including 3 special types – glow in the dark, glitter and pearl!
  • Play a game to catch Stikeez safely in a bubble – don’t let it pop!
  • Earn special under-the-sea treasures as you collect and unlock surprise rewards on your way to collecting all the Stikeez.
  • Take selfies with your favourite Stikeez and share them on social media
  • Practise your Stikeez catching skills in our play-anywhere mini game.

Pick n Pay are also running a competition where consumers can win weekly prizes just by posting pictures of themselves and their “creatures of the deep” on the supermarkets social media platforms.

“Take selfies with your monsters, and send them into the deep sea in their submarine, it’s up to your imagination to make your Stikeez 2 Snapz stick.”
