Suzelle DIY

Suzelle DIY is back to share her tips and tricks to help maximise the 50-litre daily allowance in Cape Town. She also has some strong words of warning for all when saving water.

Suzelle DIY is all about the hack-life. She consistently shares great tips to help make life easier. This time her focus has been to find helpful hacks for saving water.

She starts her video off by showing what 50-litres of water looks like and then divides it up into the best usage options. She then dives into the DIY section of the video.

Suzelle creates a DIY hand sanitizer, a 2-litre bottle hand wash mechanism (a DIY bottle tap), a DIY multisurface wet wipe dispenser and a wee spray for the toilet to avoid flushing.

She ends the video off with a demonstration of how to effectively shower and catch your grey water for the toilet.

There are some strong words of warning about flushing the toilet…

“DON’T do it! Unless completely nesseccary. You only get one flush a day guys”

Question: Did anyone else get the “grils” (heebie-jeebies) when Suzelle cut that paper towel in half? It made our spines curl!
