Tom Cruise announced the trailer of the new Mission Impossible movie by doing a cool plane stunt while filming in South Africa.

Mpumalanga, South Africa (10 October 2022) – In the lead-up to Top Gun Maverick, Tom Cruise was filming for his next Mission Impossible movie in South Africa. He took a daring Biplane flight to give a shout-out to the new Top Gun movie, hanging from a plane while flying over the Blyde River Canyon.

A video of Tom Cruise hanging onto a plane with only his hands has been going around on Facebook. The video was created during his time in South Africa, and it highlights the incredible beauty and heights of our beloved country.

In February, he made his fans’ day by stopping to chat with them in Hoedspruit. He had arrived back via helicopter, and before being driven to his accommodation, he made his way over to talk to everyone.

The chosen film locations are some of South Africa’s most beautiful landscapes. The Blyde River Canyon is such an incredible place to film! We cannot wait to see how the film crew capture its beauty and sweeping mountains.

Take a look at the stunt that has everyone talking!
