Fred and Tim Williams have gone viral for their reaction to hearing Phil Collin’s “In the air tonight”, and it caused a surge in sales for the artist too!

The United States of America (12 August 2020) – It seems almost impossible that there are people in the world that have never heard some of the best songs in the world! But, the reality is, there is an entirely new generation that has no idea about the music from the late ’70s, ’80s and ’90s (the best times for music if you ask me). To this generation, the 2000s are their oldies but goodies.

This point is brought home on a YouTube channel by 22-year-old twins Fred and Tim Williams. The twins have started listening to music they have never heard and filming their reactions. The pair have listened to the likes of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene”, Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black”, Toto’s “Africa” and so so much more.

It has been quite the treat to watch a few of their videos and see just how they react to some of our oldest favourites. Beware, it is a wormhole of good music if you get sucked into watching a few of their videos.

One of their most popular videos to date is listening to Phil Collins “In The Air Tonight”. The song has been popular since its release in 1981 but made a massive impact on an untouched audience who watched the movie “The Hangover”.

Since the twins released their reaction video two-weeks ago, the song has become a chart-topper once again. It is mind-blowing that a simple reaction video could introduce a song to an entirely new audience.

If you could hear one song for the first time again, which would it be? Me personally, it has to be Radiohead “Creep”.

Take a look at the twins’ reaction below.
