Sabrina Carpenter is hosting a Christmas variety show this December, and our girl Tyla will be performing! Here’s all you need to know about ‘Nonsense Christmas’—the holiday special that’s set to slay.

Global (22 November 2024) — It’s been far too long since there was a Christmas variety show for the world to get really excited about. But, this year, festive lovers across the world will get their fix as they tune into a ‘Nonsense Christmas’ Variety Show hosted by Espresso singer Sabrina Carpenter!

Once a common treat to look forward to during the festive season (especially during the golden age of radio and celebrity boom of the 70s and 80s) televised holiday specials largely transformed into Christmas episodes, adverts and campaigns that just don’t pack quite the same festive punch.

But, this season will see all the bells and whistles dazzle in ‘Nonsense Christmas’, with music, comedy and some of the world’s biggest stars set to slay (pun deliciously intended).

South African superstar Tyla is part of the killer duet line-up, as are icons like Chappel Roan and Kali Uchiss. Miss Sabrina will be performing some of her festive favourites (Santa’s said to be quite the ‘Espresso’ fan, so we might just get a shot of the chart-topping tune, too).

Other appearances in Nonsense Christmas will include Nico Hiraga, Quinta Brunson, Cara Delevingne and many more Hollywood hitters.

Think the holiday variety shows your grandparents used to love…but with a 2024 twist (read: there will be many innuendos).

The Netflix special is set to air on 6 December, and as Sabrina herself shares, “It won’t be a silent night.”
