humour Johannesburg water Levels

The water crisis has brought out some of the best laughs we have had which makes sense if you are a South African! A good sense of humour during times of crisis is essentially a South African’s ultimate survival tool.

We have seen some really funny posts on Facebook recently all surrounding the water crisis in the Western Cape. People are incredibly clever with the way they see the world so we found some of the funnier but incredibly clever posts and have shared them with you below.

Bath Tub Erotica. But it’s not what you think!

This first post below was by Wayne Gerard. He shared a video of a bath being filled up and to Capetonians, it was practically erotic. One commenter called it 50 shades of bubbles. The rest left some pretty funny innuendos.

“I know erotica probably isn’t allowed on this group, but I just had to share this steamy video clip. Does anyone in CT know what this actually is? A mate visiting Durban sent me this. Not sure what this is but its HOT!” – Wayne Gerard

Thoughtful wonderings.

The next post gave us a giggle! Moshe Adir was contemplating who is making the most money out of the drought.

“Who needs Gym when you can haul buckets around all day… Forget the plastic shops making money… the chiropractors and massage professionals must be raking it in!” – Moshe Adir

Face Palm moments.

This one has received a lot of flack online… People are angry about the spreading of “Fake News” but the joke is on them… Because it’s February… That gave us a good giggle!
