witnessed fire

A South African woman has become the next internet sensation after realizing that a “roof was on fire” during her lunch break.

Zanele was interviewed by EWN after a fire started on the roof of a building in Braamfontein, immediately she became the reporter we all want to see!

Facebook users love her spirit and personality! Even more so they are going crazy over her comment “The Roof, The Roof, The Roof is on fire!”, it is a lyric from a song by Rock Master Scott & the Dynamic Three. The comment has left people in hysterics.

“The roof the roof the roof is on fire!!!lol plus she moves with the beat” – Danielle Eckersley

“Someone needs to turn this into a parody song.” – Lee Herbert

Zanele has been compared to America’s “Ain’t nobody got time fo’ dat” lady because of being the first person interviewed after the fire. Luckily our Zanele is a natural born reporter and has created an amazing video that is giving us all a good little chuckle!

Some people have even created internet meme’s. This one below was shared by Facebook user Christo Laten.
