Every year YouTube puts out an amazing video featuring all the biggest creators, and this year’s video features our very own Trevor Noah! How epic!
Like clockwork, the 2016 edition of YouTube’s annual Rewind retrospective video is here to sweep us back through all the stuff that kept us busy online this year…
For 2016, YouTube lined up an impressive roster of over 200 of the best creators and celebrities like The Rock, James Corden and our very own Trevor Noah added to the fun of recreating the most popular videos, memes and songs from the past year.
The video (shot in 18 countries) is set to a banging mix courtesy of Major Lazer, featuring Justin Bieber’s “Sorry,” The Chainsmokers’ “Closer,” Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home” and more.
All told, the top 10 videos on YouTube this year had a collective 550 million views for a combined 25 million hours of time spent watching. Adele’s Carpool Karaoke naturally topped the list with nearly 136 million views alone, followed by latecomer Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen with 95 million.
