Every year YouTube puts out an amazing video featuring all the biggest creators, best videos and top trends in one ultimate mash up.
YouTube Rewind is a video series produced and created by the platform. The videos are an overview and recap of each year’s viral videos, events, memes, and music. Each year, the number of YouTube celebrities featured in the video, as well as the presentation of the series, have increased.
Last year’s iteration was the most-viewed ever since YouTube began the tradition in earnest in 2012, with 203 million views to date.
And like clockwork, the 2017 edition of YouTube’s annual Rewind retrospective video is here to sweep us back through all the stuff that kept us busy online this year.
“The Shape of 2017” features “nearly 300 creators, viral stars, musicians, and surprise guests” from over 20 countries.
