Beautiful has been re-released with a powerful music video!

Global (20 October 2022) – Christina Aguilera’s “Beautiful” has been re-released with a powerful new music video highlighting how social media has intensified body image issues, self-harm and disordered eating in children and teens.

The song received universal acclaim from music critics, who have ranked it among Aguilera’s strongest material. In 2022, Billboard ranked the song second on their list of “The 100 Greatest Songs of 2002”. They noted that the “Grammy-winning empowerment anthem provides a stunningly detailed illustration of the search for one’s inner beauty amid battling insecurities.”

Twenty years later and the song still resonates. Perhaps more vital in this “social media” era.

“In the last 20 years, since Stripped was first released, social media has transformed our relationship with our bodies, and in turn, our mental health.

“Research suggests that time spent on social networking sites is associated with body image issues, self-harm and disordered eating in children and teens. This needs to change.”
