Abandoned Fairytale

A powerful dancer explored her movements with an abandoned factory as her back drop. The effect is mesmerising and shows the true talent in South Africa.

South Africa is filled with talented people, most people could give the international scene a serious run for their money! Thankfully technology is becoming easily accessible to everyone and digital skills are growing. This means every day we get to see our fellow South Africans rock their skills.

Nab is a collective with a focus on film and videography. They recently did a concept shoot in an abandoned factory in Cape Town. The space was industrial and runic with it’s walls covered in graffiti.

The model for the shoot not only shows her beauty but also her power and strength. Her name is Nathalie Faydherbe and she is a dancer, fitness model and mma fighter. She makes use of coloured gas bombs to highlight her graceful movements in various parts of the factory.

If the production company’s name seems familiar, they are also responsible for filming the music video for the phenomenal duo ‘No Method‘. Their music video is currently sitting on 21.4 million views. NAB have also started filming event after movies, much like the ones you see for festivals like ‘Tomorrowland’.
