The Animal Ambulance takes care of around 300 animals, working specifically with sick and abused animals; it is hosting a movie night to raise funds.
Pretoria, South Africa (09 March 2022) – Animal Ambulance is opening its doors and inviting the public to join its pups for a night of movies, popcorn and even a bit of camping. All this is being done to reach a fundraising goal of R5000.00.
The Animal Ambulance is a 24-hour emergency shelter for sick and abused animals. It was established in 2002 and is a registered non-profit. They focus only on animals that are sickly or have come from abusive situations. People finding strays or looking to rehome animals are encouraged to reach out to the SPCA for assistance.
The organisation rehabilitate injured animals and, once they are back to health, are placed up for adoption. They also work to rebuild trust in abused animals so they too can be rehomed. There are about 300 animals at the rescue centre, including a few farm animals.
The Animal Ambulance movie night will be taking place on the 26th of March 2022, and they will be showing “A Dogs Purpose”.
