In a world that can often feel cold and indifferent, Beanies for Beings stands out as a shining example of compassion and the life-changing power of human kindness.
Johannesburg, South Africa (29 August 2024) – Empathy and compassion are at the heart and soul of the selfless team at Beanies for Beings.
Offering unwavering support to those in need, the charity organisation works tirelessly to assist children, women, the elderly, the disabled and just about anyone in need of a hand-up.
The charity’s recent visit to Impumelelo Day Care Center For Adults With Disability was a heartwarming reminder of the positive impact that even small acts of kindness can have.
The team delivered food relief boxes for each beneficiary and staff member to take home.
The joy and gratitude expressed by the beneficiaries and staff members were truly touching and heartwarming to witness.
“Everyone was so very grateful. We got to spend some time observing an arts and crafts class, even Brendon who is completely blind was busy with a painting. It was such a special time, and we’re beyond humbled that we could gift these boxes for the families who are really struggling,” Beanies for Beings shared.
Where there is a need, they do their best to respond and assist. They were also able to send more groceries to Success Katlego Academy for lunches to be cooked for 150 pupils.
Beanies for Beings are always, always in need of non-perishable food to support communities who struggle with food security.
The charity was founded as a natural response to the huge demand for assistance among children, families and individuals. Not only do they assist with much-needed donations, but are also dedicated to knitting and crocheting clothing items for those in need.
“Many of the ladies who assist us with their time and skills by crocheting and knitting, are unable to purchase the wool needed. We would be most grateful for your help – any ply, any colour!”
