Santa Cause for Paws selected the Cat Village in Benoni as its 2021 festive charity recipient, which meant many additional donations for animals in need.
East Rand, South Africa (21 December 2021) – Irma Teller gives her heart, soul and time to caring for 1500 cats. She runs the Cat Villiage on the East Rand, which is a pro-life non-profit cat rescue charity.
Irma, a rescuer by heart, takes in cats and offers them long-term residence. She is surrounded by a group of volunteers who work to give the cats the best lives possible. The village is set in a beautiful garden giving the cats many natural spaces to relax and stretch out.
The cats have an enriching environment to live, stay healthy and are well-fed. It is the job cat lovers dreams of. Irma relies on donations and the support of volunteers to keep each kitty happy. She often shares photos of the residents in her care and how donations are used to support them.
Santa Cause for Paws, an animal welfare donation collection charity, selected the Cat Village as a recipient for their 2021 festive campaign. The organisation raises funds and collects donations for charities in need and then distributes them during the festive season or sooner if needed.
The Santa Cause for Paws team dropped off all the donations at the Cat Village recently, and Irma was overwhelmed with joy.
“A big thank you to Channe Moore from Santa Cause for Paws for the additional donation delivered to us. Thank you to all the sponsors. It is highly appreciated.”
