There are a large number of videos on Facebook and across the internet that feature the amazing bonds between humans and their dogs. These videos always make us feel warm and fuzzy inside.
An Argentinian organ donation organisation created a PSA to promote organ donation and their take on it really hits home for many dog lovers!
A dog and his elderly owner share the kind of bond that we humans often share with our beloved pets. The bond was so strong that the dog spent days waiting for his owner to leave the hospital. The ending really gets you! The old man was an organ donor. And while he never comes back through those doors, the dog recognises his friend anywhere. The man saved a life.
Watching this video brought on a flood of tears that we are currently blaming on the office ninja… He always cuts onions when we watch videos like this! That’s our story and we are sticking with it!

Remember that registering doesn’t mean your organs will be donated. You need to express these wishes to your family who makes the decision at the end of the day.
